Note that this badge has absolutely no wear. It is as if it where made yesterday. Old badges appear old, with the normal wear of a 100 plus years of ageing. Please note that the lettering on the back (the initials) are similar to the cup lettering. Also notice the same gold "blob" in the center. They are trying to tell me that both the badge and the cup are authentic, but both show absolutely no wear, and both appear to be made by the same individual? Please correct me if I am wrong, did Texas Ranger Badge manufacturers also make confederate "shot glasses"? By what process did they keep them from aging? I have a 140 year old presentation cup (see example) and it has considerable wear and it was not used in the normal day to day way a "shot glass" like the one shown would be.
