The autograph of "A. E. Smith" shown on the discharge is NOT Algernon E. Smith of the 7th US Cavalry. Sadly a well respected, very experienced autograph dealer sold one of this A. E. Smith's clipped signatures as that of the famous Little Big Horn KIA.
