Large framed oval albumen of rare NY Colonel Henry K. Viele. Viele was the colonel of the 94th New York Infantry and Military Governor of Alexandria, Virginia in 1862. His brother was General Egbert Viele.
Frame measures roughly 10.5" x 12.5", has no glass, otherwise in good condition with wear as shown in the scan. Albumen in very good condition with expected wear.
