Fantastic West Point Class of 1869 Image "Pipes" What a great image!
The Class of 1869, which included Bennie Hodgson and James Porter, both killed at the Little Big Horn, grouped their pipes together along with a "69" flag.
Notice the skull and crossbones on the "Buttermilk" jug in the center.
Roughly the size of a cabinet card, no b/m but definitely a first generation photograph.
