1862 Army of the Potomac Document signed by then Captain James Forsyth. He would be promoted to General and serve on Sheridan's Staff, and become the Colonel of 7th US Cavalry during the late Indian Wars.
Interesting content concerning a "parole of honor" to a man waiting for charges against him. Signed & notated boldly by Forsyth on the lower half of the document. Legal sized paper in very good condition.
